In this position, you will:

A Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials to meet HP’s objectives of superior customer experience and optimal inventory investment. He/she helps regional Parts Supply chain to fulfill pipeline purchases and maintain supplier relationships. Persons in this role produce reports and analyses to better develop trends for supply activities. A Buyer:

• Executes buying actions to support service supply chain products throughout their lifecycle by executing  purchase plans with suppliers;
• Ensures all Purchase Orders are executed in a timely manner with appropriate acknowledgement responses from suppliers;
• Coordinates with suppliers to ensure shipment schedules  meet materials plan and  follow-up when necessary;
• Executes shipment pull-in and push-out for demand surge and demand decline situation;
• Resolves invoice and payment issues with suppliers; 
• Produces supplier performance report and contributes to supplier performance review management;
• All other legally permissible tasks requested by the line manager.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Familiar with use of SAP is an advantage
